Kangaroo Files positions itself as a service provider dedicated to providing a secure and accessible experience for storing, sharing, and managing documents for all types of organizations and professionals. Our main value proposition lies in the type of encryption we apply to user files, using double encryption and 'End-to-End' technology, so that not even Kangaroo itself can read the content of the files in its custody.

By using Kangaroo Files, you retain all rights and responsibilities over the contents of the files you upload or share through our service. You grant us permission to encrypt and store the files in the cloud, with our partners within the European space, and to transmit such files only to the extent necessary to operate the service you have contracted.

By subscribing to Kangaroo Files, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of our service.

Kangaroo Files offers cloud storage services, allowing users to store, share, and manage documents. Subscribers can choose between different service levels, including Free (free) and Premium (paid) plans, with varying degrees of storage, features, and support.

Your premium plan starts immediately after payment confirmation and remains in effect until cancellation. Subscription options include monthly and annual periods.

You have the right to cancel any plan within 14 days from the start date, receiving a full refund, even if you have already used the service.

The user can change their account from a Free (free) plan to a Premium (paid) plan. The Premium plan allows you, through a monthly or annual payment, to access additional features or capabilities. It also allows you to remove advertisements displayed when using the free version. Details about prices and payment methods are updated and mentioned on the subscription platform.

Premium plans automatically renew with each full payment made, monthly or annually. The upgrade takes effect immediately after payment confirmation.

Cancellation on the platform by the user, at any time. The service will remain active until the end of the already paid cycle, monthly or annual. Charges and renewals are canceled until further notice from the user. Simplified cancellation by the user—simply do not make the payment, whether monthly or annual. No penalties for the user. Downgrade on the platform at any time. The service will remain unchanged until the end of the already paid cycle, monthly or annual.

Cancellation or downgrade of a plan only takes effect on the renewal date, so services will continue to be provided until that date. Whenever a plan downgrade is performed, you must ensure that your account resources do not exceed the limits of the new plan (number of connections, storage capacity, etc.). If you are using more resources than your plan allows, you will have 30 free days to adjust the resources to the new plan. After 30 days, if you have not reduced to the authorized limits, you will be prevented from using some account functions until you adjust the resources used to the limits of the chosen plan. In extreme cases, a Premium account that does not make payments or respond to warnings to reduce resources to the Free plan will be considered abandoned, resulting in the deletion of all files and connections.

Kangaroo Files assumes no responsibility for the content published or shared through our services. It is important to consider that the content present in our services may be subject to intellectual property rights held by third parties. Considering these rights, do not copy, upload, transfer, or share content if you do not have the appropriate rights to do so. Help us protect your personal data. Ensure that your account information is always up to date. Avoid sharing your account credentials with third parties and do not allow others to access your account. Take measures to safeguard your account password. To use our services, you must be at least 16 years old. However, if the law in your place of residence requires a different age, and for Kangaroo Files to provide its services legally without the need for parental consent (including the use of your personal data), you must comply with the age requirement for that location.

The desire to do more and better will be a constant in our journey. Over time, there will be product launches and features that will go through testing and evaluation periods. These services are labeled with terms such as 'alpha,' 'beta,' 'preview,' 'early access,' or 'evaluation' (or similar words and phrases) and may not be as stable or reliable as other Kangaroo services. It is important for us to gather your feedback on these Beta Phase services, and by opting to use them, you agree that we may contact you for this feedback.

To improve our service, new tools may be added, which will not incur additional costs for you as a user. However, Kangaroo Files reserves the right to remove these additional free tools without prior notice.

Kangaroo Files may provide you with options to link and even integrate external tools, but access and use of these tools are your responsibility. Kangaroo Files does not own or operate these tools, so it is not responsible for any acts or omissions by third parties, nor for the content, products, services, or availability of these third parties.

Kangaroo Files is protected by copyright laws, trademarks, and other national and international laws. As a user, these terms do not grant you any rights or interests in the services we provide, the content of other users of the services we provide, the registered trademarks of Kangaroo Files, the logos, and other brand features. In any case, we appreciate your comments and suggestions, which we may use without any obligation to you.

Factors such as changes in our service, changes in economic conditions, or even changes in our business may result in a change in the prevailing pricing at the time of your subscription renewal. Don't worry, whenever there is any change, you will receive prior notice of at least 30 days at the email address associated with your account, describing these possible changes. You will have the opportunity to review them and decide whether to continue with your account before the new pricing takes effect.

The Services may be discontinued due to unforeseen and exceptional situations, events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, fires, or explosions) or to comply with legal requirements. If this happens, and whenever possible, we will notify you with reasonable prior notice so that you can export your content from our systems (at least 30 days notice). If we discontinue the services this way before the end of any period for which you paid us, we will refund the portion of the amount you paid in advance but for which you did not receive the services.

Kangaroo Files will always focus on offering excellent services, seeking to meet user needs, but the services are provided as is, and nothing more can be required from us. Kangaroo Files respects all warranties provided by law.

In accordance with current legislation in Portugal, all claims and disputes related to our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Braga.

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain fully valid.

We may modify these terms for legal reasons or to improve the service. Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
